LG Targets European Homes with Advanced Cleaning Solutions
LG Electronics LG Electronics has launched a suite of four new vacuum cleaners at IFA 2025 in Berlin, aiming to address the unique needs of European households. The lineup includes a robot vacuum with steam mop, a built-in robot vacuum station, a stick vacuum, and a wet-dry stick vacuum. The company’s latest offerings emphasize convenience, performance, and integration with modern interiors.
AI-Enhanced Robot Vacuum Offers Deep, Hygienic Cleaning

The new robot vacuum represents a significant leap from its predecessor, featuring more than double the suction power and a steam mopping function that removes both grease and liquid spills. Its docking station, styled to resemble furniture, not only blends into home decor but also self-sterilizes the mop using hot water and steam after each use, ensuring cleanliness and odor control.

Equipped with an on-device AI chip, the robot can identify dirt, dust, furniture, and obstacles, enabling precise navigation. An AI carpet detection system automatically directs the vacuum to its docking station to detach the mop before cleaning carpets, preventing stains and optimizing performance. LG has also integrated its LG Shield security platform to safeguard user data.
Built-In Robot Station Maximizes Space and Minimizes Noise

Designed to fit beneath kitchen sinks, the built-in robot vacuum station targets the space constraints of European homes. Its auto-opening door remains nearly invisible when closed, maintaining a minimalist look. The station’s air circulation system reduces noise during automatic dust disposal, while features like auto water supply, draining, and a real-time turbidity sensor for mop cleanliness enable fully automated, hands-free operation. The system initiates mop cleaning when soiling is detected, improving efficiency and reducing energy use.
Stick Vacuums for Consistent, Allergy-Aware Performance

LG’s new stick vacuum leverages Micro Cyclone technology and an upgraded filter cleaning system to deliver stable suction, even when challenged by pet hair and fine dust. The model’s auto dust disposal mechanism minimizes exposure to allergens during bin emptying. A compact, free-standing storage and charging station allows flexible placement throughout the home.
Wet-Dry Stick Vacuum Focuses on Ergonomics and Smart Cleaning
The wet-dry stick vacuum addresses demand for lighter, easier-to-maneuver cleaning tools. Features like AI Roller Control and adaptive learning from users’ cleaning patterns reduce wrist strain and optimize efficiency. The vacuum’s roller can lift both liquid spills and larger debris, while built-in LED lighting helps users spot dirt in low-light areas. For hygiene, the mop head undergoes hot water washing, steam sterilization, and hot air drying after use.
Commitment to Comfort and Innovation
“LG’s new vacuums are designed for European homes and lifestyles, delivering reliable performance along with greater comfort, hygiene and peace of mind,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company. The latest lineup will be showcased at LG’s IFA 2025 booth in Berlin from September 5-9.
